Cream of Isfahan

An Isfahan of the old school, attributed to the designer Ahmad of Isfahan and predating the celebrated Seyrafian workshops. Nine hundred knots to the square inch, the cream field held in a deep red frame — the classic Isfahan temperament.

Older than Seyrafian! Famous designer, Ahmad from Isfahan, was the designer.

Ivory field with a layered rosette medallion and shah-abbasi palmettes; deep red primary border in the classic Isfahan manner.
